Settling In Session

Our Friday morning the 'Settling in Session' is dedicated specifically to children from the age of 2 to 3. It is usually a small group and is designed to allow the children to settle into the Pre-school environment gently. The adult:child ratio is 1:4 and we encourage the parents/carers to stay with their child until they are happy to be left.

This session allows the children to play freely for the first hour, join in singing and chat time, enjoy a snack together, followed by outside play in the garden or if wet in the Primary School hall. The session ends with a story.
